Girl group Lovelyz is gaining hot response with 'Now, We' from their 2nd repackaged album, but there is a sense of sadness over how they can't appear in front of the public as music shows were canceled one after another due to the 19th presidential election recently.
"We anticipated this more than our 'WoW!' promotion. The song and the choreography are good so we wanted to quickly show them to the fans but there wasn't much opportunity to do so and it was regrettable. But fortunately, the response was good so we're happy. Before, we only sang songs about unrequited love but this time, it's an answered happy ending for the love so it's heart fluttering."
In Lovelyz's promoted song before this, 'Destiny (My Earth)', it's about the despair of an unreciprocated love, in 'WoW!' it explains why the love can't be reciprocated, and in this title track 'Now, We', it attracted attention for the direction of reciprocated 'happy ending' love.
As expected, the fancy and unique choreography is receiving high praise.
"There's a lot of kneeling down parts so it's a bit hard. It's okay when we dance, but it hurts after it's over. We got bruises. But everyone is like, "It's fresh," so we're grateful. We want to showcase it more prettily in the future. At the 'I feel hazy' part, there is a dance where we express a doll that is powered by solar energy. We'll appreciate it more if you carefully watch for these kinds of points."
'Now We' is a song by Yoonsang's producing team 1Piece, with lyrics by Seo Jieum. Participation by the creators of Lovelyz's representative and steady seller songs 'Hi~' and 'Ah-Choo', more attention is being given to this finished, new song with "LovelyzXYoonsangXSeo Jieum" collaboration.
Compared to Lovelyz's past songs, the BPM now is the fastest electro dance song (among all their title tracks), with fresh arrangement and high pitch, the members' showcase their singing abilities which are brimming with energy with no regrets, captivating music fans from start to finish.
